NaBloPoMo -- incentive to blog

To remedy the fact that I have not been consistant in updating this blog (no, I haven't forgotten about it completely) I am trying something new. NaBloPoMo stands for National Blog Posting Month. Each month they give the challenge to post everyday that month, with a suggested topic as a guideline for those of us who put off blogging for lack of something to say. While I will try to keep the blogs consistant with the theme of the blog (A Servant's Heart), most of my posts in July will be on the topic of Food, since that is NaBloPoMo's theme for the month.

I will see how this challenge goes. Perhaps I will need to do it several months before I actually accomplish the goal. My purpose for doing this is use my blog as one tool to set aside a certain amount of time each day to write. I am writing for Associated Content where I get paid per page view as well as sometimes an upfront payment. I also have a large project that I would like to complete that I need to get started on. Getting in the habit of writing each day will help on both of these projects.

I believe that God can and will use my writing if I am obedient in using and developing the talent He has given me as well as in what I write. I hope you will join me on my new adventure of actually updating this blog on a regular basis.
